STU with AGH Krakow test high-speed LiDAR perception

In the joint experiment at Slovakia Ring, researchers from AGH Krakow and AIL Lab performed test of lidar perception in high-speed scenarios, where two experimental cars were avoiding each other in the relative speed up to 300km/h. These experiments were done using the test vehicles that AGH uses in cooperation with APTIV R&D center in Krakow, Poland.

During this experiment, several scenarios with various manuevers were performed at the Slovakia Ring closed circuit near Bratislava. Data collected during this experiment will be analysed and the results will be provided in a joint research paper that will be prepared by both research teams.

During this visit of researchers from Poland, other opportunities for collaboration were discussed in order to strengthen the relationship between these two research universities.
